Nova Ribbon Series Monitors

The NRD high driver is based on Nova’s specially designed Ribbon Driver Technology. This technology involves a light moving mass diaphragm and no compression chamber, which offers very low distortion, flat frequency response and extremely high sound clarity all volume levels. Together with specially designed crossovers, Nova ribbon loudspeakers provide hi-fi sound quality at pro audio sound pressure levels. Because of the very flat frequency response, feedback is no longer a problem. This is an important advantage, especially for monitor and side-fill applications. These speakers are designed for a wide range of applications where high end sound quality is required. The Ribbon Series is made in Germany, with a 2 year warranty.

Nova NMR Digital (Active)
*The active section of this speaker is based on a modular technology which allows flexible use in different speaker systems. The system is divided in two different modules. The mixer module offers a 3-channel mixer including voice EQ, a switchable master-equalizer as well as a switchable low-cut filter (120 Hz). The mixer module shows also a control display and an additional signal-output (signal pre master-equalizer). The power module offers the switch mode power supply
(SMPS), a noise filter, the digital amplifier (class-D) and the power factor correction (PFC).*
